The VMOD5240 updates Viking’s drawer-microwave format to the current 5 Series control platform, keeping the same bottom-mounted drawer mechanism used on the older VMOD241SS. Drawer motor and interlock diagnostics carry over from that earlier generation largely unchanged, since the physical drawer mechanism itself hasn’t needed much redesign.
